Each year for the past several years, Nancy John's Art Gallery in Windsor has held a juried art exhibit of paintings of a specific size.  This year (2011) all paintings had to be 36" by 36".
I choose to paint Mt. McKinley aka Denali.  I was lucky enough to see this beautiful mountain in 2008 on a trip to Alaska with my family.
This acrylic painting was accepted for the juired exhibit and was shown in the gallery from April 16 to May 2, 2011.
